The holidays are right around the corner. Here's your chance to spend some time with your fellow book lovers, learn about new books published this year, and complete your holiday book-buying needs all at once. Come to our December meeting to hear from and mingle with 21 chapter authors who've had something new published this year in the mystery field. Booksellers from Mystery Loves Company will be there to sell books. The authors will be ready to sign them. So come on down and support your chapter authors! We're having a different mix of authors than at the November meeting, so even if you came to that event, we hope you'll attend the December meeting, too.

Aymar, Maya Corrigan, Meriah Crawford, Maddi Davidson, Christina Freeburn, Barb Goffman, Sherry Harris, Jacqui Lane, Clyde Linsley, Sujata Massey, Eileen McIntire, Susan O'Brien, Kathryn O'Sullivan, Josh Pachter, Sandra Parshall, Shari Randall, KM Rockwood, Marianne Wilski Strong, Art Taylor, and Cathy Wiley.

The meeting is FREE and open to the public, but PLEASE RSVP so we can provide a proper headcount to the library so they can set out enough chairs. (Of course, if you decide at the last minute to attend, we'd still love to see you.)

If you want to go to lunch beforehand, there are many nearby options. Reston Town Center is about a half mile from the library, and it has plenty of restaurants, as well as garage and street parking. About a quarter mile from the library are an On The Border, at 11880 Spectrum Center, and a Macaroni Grill, at 1845 Fountain Drive.

DIRECTIONS TO THE LIBRARY (which has plenty of parking):
From Maryland and points south and east: Take the Capital Beltway to the Dulles Toll Road (Route 267). Take exit 12 (Reston Parkway). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Reston Parkway. At the fifth traffic light, turn left onto Bowman Towne Drive. The library is approximately a quarter mile down, on your left.

From points west: Take the Dulles Toll Road Road (Route 267). Take exit 12 (Reston Parkway). At the end of the exit ramp, turn left onto Reston Parkway. At the sixth traffic light, turn left onto Bowman Towne Drive. The library is approximately a quarter mile down, on your left.
